Provided by SuperpagesOn April 4th after a trip to Florence, AL I came across Momma Jean's. The waitress and staff were the best!!! After my meal I was stranded for over 6 hours. Not sure what to do Momma's staff embrassed me, opened up the office to me and made me feel so special and loved. Many guest at the restaurant did the same (going as far as giving me their phone numbers and inviting me to their homes), Most of the time I sat on the front porch rocking in one of the rocking chairs and watching the fish in the pond. I was there until closing time when one of the waitress' took me to the Shell station next door to wait until my husband arrived. I AM SO THANKFUL TO MOMMA JEAN AND ALL HER STAFF....encluding (hope I enclude you all)....Haley, Helen, Emily, Denise, Celena, Bree, Tiffany and Ashley.....THANKS FOR BEING THERE FOR ME IN MY TIME OF NEED.....GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU!!!

Provided by SuperpagesMy husband were in town for a few days for a church conference. We really wanted something other than fast food to satisfy our need for some good vegetables. We were not disappointed. We visited Momma Jean's two nights in a row. We had meat loaf, turkey and dressing, fried chicken breast and country style steak, plus cabbage, okra and tomatoes, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, fried okra and slaw. Everything was wonderful - not overcooked or overseasoned. We only wish we could have stayed longer and gone again.
