I made an appointment to see a few places to rent. I was going to be there for a clinical rotation for 3 months. I told Ronda that I planned to move to 29 palms in six weeks.



First of all, she refused to book an appointment earlier than 1 day ahead. That's right. It was Monday and I wanted to see an appointment to see some rental units on Friday; I was told to call back on Thursday. I guess they only have one page on their appointment book...

Instead of meeting me at one of the properties, they told me to drive by each unit first and then meet them at their office.



That's fine. I drove 2 hours to get to 29 palms, I looked around, I even got there early. When I walked into Libby's Realty, they looked at me as if they had no idea I was supposed to be there. Anyway, I re-explained my situation to Cheri and Ronda. Cheri then refused to show me the properties because I was looking "too soon." It was a nice 4 hour round trip to the middle of nowhere for nothing.

While the ladies are friendly, and willing to help you get a house, NEVER rent from this place. I had the house cleaned, and still had to pay double my deposit after moving out, for things that were wrong with the house before I moved in. Then I recently found out that they claim to have had to get a warrant to have my family removed from the house, but this claim is obsurd! I gave them MORE than the required 30 day notice, in writing, that we were moving out do to military orders. By the way they have a military clause which would have excluded us from the 30 day notice anyway. I would not recommend this place to anyone, all they will do is ruin your credit.

Never rent with this company. They don't fix anything. They don't give back your security deposit. They have a list of things they supposedly fixed on this rental property, they did none of that! But they said I can't prove that and I probably took everything with me, after which they called me stupid! NEVER RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO JUST GIVE THEM ALL YOUR MONEY!
