Oasis Elementary School enrolls more than 650 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers a variety of academic, extracurricular and athletic programs. The elementary school offers various academic courses, such as English, science, mathematics and social science. It has a school site council that plans and develops school goals, programs and policies. The school has a parent-teacher association that sponsors a variety of school activities and programs, such as family nights and science fairs. The school offers Title I reading program to help students become active readers through a variety of reading experiences. In addition, it has a library that has a large collection of reference materials and fiction and picture books. Located in Twentynine Palms, Calif., it is a part of the Morongo Unified School District.
