When Charmac Trailers was established, each trailer was fabricated by one craftsman rather than built on an assembly line. The company uses a variation of that same concept today to produce thousands of trailers at its six-acre plant site. This production method allows for better quality and flexibility to make size and option changes with ease. Charmac Trailers offers living quarters that can be installed in its all-aluminum and horseman series trailers. Other equipment manufactured by the company includes the Outwest Series, cargo chuttle, car chuttle and snow shuttle trailers. Max and Charlene Casperson founded Charmac Trailers in 1977. The company is located in Twin Falls, Idaho.
