Provided by YP.comI called them to tow my pickup when alternator quit. It was in great shape except for the alternator. The driver towed it. When I got in the truck, the emergency brake wouldn't work. I called Liberty, asked for manager. They connect me to a man, I don't know his name. I told him about the emergency brake not working anymore. I told him it was working just fine until they towed my truck. He talked to the tow truck driver, and the driver denied making any mistakes when towing my truck. He asked me how old my truck was. He said that since my truck was a few years old, it was probably something that had already happened, and that I was trying to get some money out of them for damages they didn't do.
They knocked my emergency brake out of kilter, and refused to take responsibility. Fortunately, the expense for repair of the brake was only 50 dollars. But they should have paid for the damages they did to my truck, and they shouldn't have called me a liar.
If I ever need a tow again, I will call a different company. I urge others to do the same.
We did speak with this customer and advised him that the unit was towed on a flatbed. Therefore; there was no need to utilize the emergency brake. We at no time called the customer a liar nor stated that he was only trying to obtain money. We did not accept liability for a damage that was not caused by our company or our driver
