Newk's is a pretty unique experience for the Tyler area. I've only had the pizza so far. It was definitely delicious and I'd get it again. The personal pizza price didn't seem too outrageous because they're so big, but everything else seemed ridiculous! My boyfriend got a sandwich and it was way more expensive than I feel it should've been. Plus, don't think your salad or sandwich will be low-fat, check out the nutrition info on the website!

Whenever we went, the coke machines were both out of order and they only had water. And we still had to pay for a drink. That was annoying.

I feel like a restaurant should at least try to go get some 2-liters or coke cans or something to make up for that. I know of other restaurants that do that when they're out of a certain drink. I've even been to one where the ice machine was broken, but it was no problem because they went out and bought dozens of bags of ice to get them through when it could be fixed! I think it's pretty unacceptable to not try to make up for things when they're broken!
