Provided by YP.comI wish to remain anonymous, but I feel
compelled to write a review. I stayed
for four and a half years at Pinecrest.
For the most part, I felt abused, and the
care was far below standard.
I have been a nurse, so wherever I stay
I know how things should be going.
Well, they have almost no pride in
their work, make plenty of mistakes,
etc. That's about all I have to say.

Provided by YPmobileNever in a million years would I take my lived one to a nursing/rehab facility. But since we weren't able to take her home with us my grandmother needed to get physical therapy. We arrived Saturday afternoon. So the rest of that day and Sunday we where left to just sit and wait. No one ever went to our room and when I mean no one I mean an administrator. The nurses and CNA's where doing their job. They where so confused about what dialysis center my grandma had to go to. On Tuesday morning when it was her day to go to dialysis they took my grandma in a wheel chair and she slipped out of the chair, not all the way to the floor but she was hanging in for dear life. The driver of the facility said she pulled over and called somebody for help. Thank God for her. Every since that slip my grandmother complaint about back pain. It was painful for us to watch her in such excruciating pain. And all the nurses would do is give her pain meds. Finally we took her to the hospital and out of that place. The moral of my story is she went in to Pinecrest to get rehab it was never long term. In a couple of weeks she would be out. But since this incident her recovery has been held back. I was very disappointed in the way they DID NOT take care of the situation. I talked to the administrator and all she said was it was "human error" she was not apologetic at all. The system has failed to take better care of our senior citizens. Our loved ones. Never again. Never again!
