I have read the two other reviews, and I would not say it's fair to call it a puppy mill. Yes they get puppies from breeder in the midwest, but her home is clean and the dogs all appear healthy. We bought a Shichon back in late July 2012 and he's a great puppy, super smart, super cute, and we love him. He has since been seen by our vet and has thus far been fine. I will say that the day after we got him, he had a runny nose. I called the owner of Just Pups and told her that we were totally happy with him, didn't have a thought of returning him, but we were concerned about his runny nose and looking for advice. I left all this in a voice mail, and she never even called me back.

I know the pains of looking for a dog and we really wanted a special dog that was good for allergy suffers. But didn't want to spend $2000 for a dog. Bottom line, I think we got a great dog. The place we got him was clean. It's not a puppy mill. I googled the kennnel our dog came from and in all the state's drop by, unannouced visits they had no issues. I just wish the owner of Just Pups would have returned my call. That being said, if I had to do it all over again...I wouldn't change a thing.

My husband and I bought our goldendoodle Sasha from “Just Pups” in the spring of 2014. The owner convinced us that Sasha came from a respected breeder, who had worked with her family for years. When we first brought Sasha home I googled the name on the white tag around her neck: Elmer Lapp. I was disgusted to see that the first search result was an exposé on the worst puppy mills in America.

Fast forward two years later and Sasha has just been diagnosed with sebaceous adenitis, a hereditary skin disease with no cure and expensive treatments. Symptoms of this disease include hair loss , flaking skin, brittle hair, skin lesions, and bacterial infections. This disease can be prevented if breeders follow responsible practices.

I am ashamed that I ignored the warning signs, ignored my instincts, and failed to do my own research. Please do not support this unscrupulous business and their irresponsible practices.

I have purchased three amazing puppies. They were all happy, healthy and wonderful personalities. I have a yorkie poo named Cody that I purchased in 2011. We had the pleasure of purchasing a friend for Cody September of 2012. A sweet morkie pup named Cooper. I have referred two other friends that had the same wonderful experience and are loving their new addition to family.

I bought my puppy here. She is the cutest Cavachon ever!! This is a great family business. They really help you find a puppy to fit you. I have recommended all my friends and family. I know several people who have puppies from Just Pups and they love them. Buy your pup from Just Pups!!
