I love this place and go at least once a week. The owners and servers are incredibly friendly and remember my name. It is a limited menu, but what they have on it, is good old fashioned home cooking. All the soups and desserts are home made by the owner. Definitely worth a stop in.

Excellent down home style cooking. Portions are great, taste wonderful, and we are happy to have a place here in Ucon to go to dinner. Wishing The Rusty Lantern many years of success!

I strongly encourage anybody in the area to stop by, and enjoy a fantastic home cooked meal! Everybody from the waitress to the cook are very welcoming and make you feel like you are a good friend or even family. The spicy sausage soup and reuben sandwich I ate where fantastic! I am from Phoenix and have ate at a lot of up scale restaurants in the Scottsdale area and would choose the Rusty Lantern over any of them for quality of food and the down home hospitality you can get in Ucon, Idaho.
