Provided by YP.comWhile I sympathize with stacibee's experience, it doesn't sound at all like Kelly or Blue Ribbon Pets to me. We've been taking out dogs there for over ten years - first our terrier Budee, and then our poodle/bishon Marley. Kelly always has similar dogs play with each other and Marley loves it there; he can hardly contain himself when we pull into that driveway. He runs in with joy! The only complaint I would have is that he gets so slobbery from the other dogs playing with him. Thanks Kelly, for taking good care of our loved ones. Steve

Provided by YP.comI took my dog there in the summer time for 4 nights and 4 days. Upon picking up my dog, he had the largest, most horrible hot spot under his chin, all down his neck. His fur was gone, the entire site was oozing pus and it was swollen rock hard. When I had left my dog there, he was the picture of health. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was very upset. All I could think about doing is getting him to the vet ASAP. I paid them their money, took my dog to the vet where the Dr. there told me that the area was infected due to the dog being wet in that area for a period of days... Yes days, the Dr. told me that it would take 3-5 days of laying in his own slobber and water (from the water dish) for this to have happened. I went back and told the owner this, where she denied everything, said it was my dog's fault that he is a drooling Saint Bernard. My dog is 3 years old and this has only happened in her care. Obviously he laid in confinement for 4 days and nights, in the heat with no one bothering to clean up his pen or cleaning HIM up. THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE, DON'T GO HERE. And no she didn't reimburse me one cent.
Dear Staci, I was just notified of your complaint regarding your dog's last stay here. If I have the correct file I believe you are mistaken as to where your dog stayed and where he got his injuries. Your complaint of Sept 2010 states your dog stayed here for four days in the summer and that your vet said his injuries were consistant with not getting outside his run. Our records show the last time your dog stayed with us was June 13 and 14, 2009 (not 2010 and only for overnight). He then came in for grooming Aug 11 and Nov 3 2009. At no time have I ever had a conversation with you or your veterinarian regarding any injuries to your dog. While I can certainly understand and sympathize with you and feel sorry for your dog, his injuires did not occur here. Not only that, we are well-known for our extensive outside play time, attention to the pets physical and mental well being as well as our excellent working relationship with area veterinarians. Your dog has not been to our facility anytime after November 2009 nor did he ever stay more than 3 nights so therefore he would have received his injuries elsewhere. Additionally I have NEVER received any contact from you regarding your dog's care other than what I have stated above. If there is anything I am missing please feel free to contact me at your convenience. As anyone can tell you, I am most willing to discuss any concerns you might have regarding our care and services ESPECIALLY if there is a problem. In the future, I suggest you be more cautious with your statements and accusations of mistreatment so you don't cause yourself or us undue harm. Sincerely, Kelly Boesel
