The strangest place north of San Francisco. I needed an MRI and labs done. I walked in the door, and looked into the office, there' were clerks there - and some kids. I thought at first, oh, they must be kids of the patients. No. The workers bring their children to sit at the front office.



When i was taken to the back to have my MRI done? There were pre-teen girls hanging out in the room next to the MRI. They were the children of one of the sonographers, i was told. What the hell are children doing in a medical office. "Hanging out"?



Then i had to go to the bathroom near the X-ray dept. You guessed it. There was a little boy hanging out with his apparently - x-ray tech mom in her work place.



The MRI tech said "they bring their kids in all the time". Just as if this was the most "normal" thing to do.



When i had to get my labs done, there was apparently, the lab tech shoo-ing her husband and her kid out of the blood draw room before i could go in there.



Kids in a place of a patient care profession? What's going on? Does the CEO not pay the employees enough to hire a babysitter?
