Mendocino Works Employment Resource Center, located in Ukiah, Calif., offers a range of services to families and individuals. The company offers various services, including family and children's protective services, adult protective services and employment and family assistance services. Its child welfare services program provides risk assessment, in-person response, investigation, preventative services and placement services. A social worker is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide appropriate response to all reports of child abuse or neglect. The adult protective services division provides assessment and response to reports of elder and dependent adult abuse and neglect. The employment and family assistance services division provides a temporary cash grant to low-income families.
