Horrible strawberries May 2018. Bought at one of their stands 138 mi from them. Gave excuses when contacted, blah, blah, blah. Finally just threw $60 worth of berries away. They don't care, very greedy people that use lots of fertilizer to grow produce quickly. It was good when the Dad ran it, sons took over and look what happened!!

I bought 2 boxes of green tomatoes from Scott's warehouse in Unicoi on October 23, 2014. Before purchasing, I looked at the tomatoes on top of the boxes and they looked fine. I got home and found several tomatoes that had been frozen on top (probably from frost). I laid them out, hoping they would ripen and be ok if I used them first. They started rotting and in the second search, I found more. I called the Scott's number listed on Oct. 30 and the person said Scott's would only refund me within 24 hours. I complained, and they then said I would have to bring the bad ones back and they would replace them. That is a long drive from Kingsport. I asked that an owner call me so that I could email them a picture of the bad ones. That was two days ago and I have not heard from them. It is a shame that they would sell tomatoes they know are going to rot, and not even have any of them on top of the box where the buyer can see the damage. Buyer Beware. I will definitely lose at least one of the two boxes. I expected Scott to refund my money, but they wont even call me back. John [email protected]

Very disappointed in the green beans this year. I know we had a wet June, but if you have a less than desirable crop, at least warn the customer or charge less. I can't believe you actually sold these. I wouldn't want them if you gave them away. They were tough and too big instead of young and tender. The ones I received last year were wonderful. Not only did I throw my money away, I wasted a weekend canning beans you can hardly eat and certainly can't enjoy for pulling the toughies out of your mouth.
