Provided by YPmobileThe owner/manager is very controlling. We moved my mother in law here while dealing with a family emergency. Family members were not allowed to come see her between visitation. Fee to come visit is $2 per person of course even if you paid they didn't want your car there. She micromanaged everything you do in your campsite. Like a nazi commander. Could not mover her fast enough. Do not recommend. Will never go back.

Nice campground tucked back in the woods made for a quiet, restful and relaxing camping experience.

We had the best time at Woodsmoke! When we arrived, we found friendly people to greet us and tell us about our site. We even had someone help us back into our beautifully shaded spot. Streams run through the grounds covered with beautiful wildflowers and blooming shrubs. The bathhouse is immaculate, as are the campsites. Our site was clean and covered with gravel. We didn't even have to put our patio rug down. It is beautiful and quiet. You can sit out with your fire and listen to and see many bird species, along with rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks. We found lots to do in the area; lots of places to visit and to eat. And our little Dachshund was welcomed! We will definitely make this a place we visit often.

My husband had to go to Erwin to work. We looked at several RV parks and decided to try Woodsmoke. We were there for a year and we absolutely loved every minute of it! The sites are shady and very roomy and the owners are some of the finest folks we have ever met. Just as soon as we can, we are headed back to Erwin AND Woodsmoke! We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Yes there are trains, but they are off in the distance and after the 2nd night, we didn't even notice them! Also, Walmart is a few miles back down the interstate and Johnson City & Elizabethton have wonderful restaurants, etc.

Provided by YP.comMy parents had an RV and stay here several times when they visited me in Tennessee. It is a beautiful wooded, shady and quiet. They and I loved it. I would recommend it.

We are staying for the second time and are loving it. Nice and shady, lots of room, very relaxing. Easy to get to, nice owners, very accomadating, reasonably priced. The soothing sound of the lonely train in the distance is comforting. Five turkeys just strolled thru the campground. 50 amp electric with great water and sewer. The other review from the guy who left in the middle of the night is totally unmerited. He should have stayed home with his momma!

Awful! Feels like camping in a parking lot. Way overpriced, freeway noise, loud train runs through at least 4 times a night, woke my children up all nght. We left early, were refused refund. Will never, ever return....shame on them! Ruined our weekend, came home.
