Provided by YP.comI would like to thank Mr. Kelvin Shedd for his knowledge and expertise. I told him what I was looking for and he made it happen. I was between the 2019 Ram Longhorn or the Limited edition and very specific in what I wanted. I have to say this is the first dealership I've been to that didn't try to actually price gauge me. Mr. Kevin Puddy (Finance Manager) was also very helpful in getting me the price I wanted.
The only issue was how long it took for my 2019 Ram Limited (Black Beauty, yes I already named her), to be prepped. I got to the dealership at a little after 1030, but didn't leave until after 1900, obviously not due to sales.
That's the reason for 4 stars. I got there during daylight, left in the darkness, didn't even get to show her off (LMAO).
Anyway, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase thus far and I look for forward to future opportunities with the DonJackson community. Again, special thanks to Mr. Kelvin Shedd and Mr. Kevin Puddy.

Provided by YP.comWorst customer service ever.
I am very shocked and appalled at the way my mother-in law was treated by the service team yesterday. She had her 2009 Dodge Journey brought in for transmission failure on 1/28/16. After 5 days, Teresa Richardson stated she would need a new transmission for 5k, however Teresa did not state what specifically the problem was with the transmission.
Mom was told she would find her vehicle in the back lot. Never in all my experience, did the service person not take you to your car or have your car brought up to the customer area. Well that’s because your dealership left her car in shambles. The transmission was not put back which left the motor, battery and everything else under the hood unattached.
We were told to have the transmission put back would be another $600.
SHAME on you for treating any female customer so disrespectfully.
And SHAME on you for calling me today to see if I would like to purchase a new vehicle.
Did you not read my review?? DUHHHHH

Provided by YP.comNever again ! This is a "one-time only" dealership. As soon as these guys sell you a car, forgot about anything else once you drive off the lot. If you have any further questions, don't bother calling. ALBERT FORD and friends will almost NEVER call you back, nor will you be able to get them on the phone after you're gone.
We were promised a second set of FOB keys for a Jetta ($250 value), that the salesman took home the previous night by mistake. We were told it would be mailed the following morning. It's been 25 days since they told us it was mailed out. Asked for confirmation or tracking #, they couldn't supply it. When I asked for the confirmation number, the salesman started accusing me of calling him a liar that I was assuming he didn't send it.
ALBERT FORD is practicing bad salemanship. Trust me, he's too busy to call you back and answer your questions or concerns after he makes a sale. I'm not sure about the other salesmen. I will NEVER go to that dealership again. Little things go a long way.

Provided by YP.comSTAY AWAY!!!!
I had very very low expectations and they still found a way to disappoint and then disgust me.
I had minimal contact with this dealership and basically bought my car online. They were rude and did not clean it, but I was in a hurry, so I did not care at the time...
Then a few months later I called just to ask for a copy of the bill of sales. It was the only time I had contacted them and they never once contacted me about the vehicle after I picked it up.
Well after three days and literally talking to 5 different people, I was sounding impatient because I had lost patience. However, the last guy I talked to told me if I did not stop being sarcastic he would not help me. To be clear, I did not once swear or insult him in any way and he ACTUALLY THREATENED NOT TO HELP ME because he did not like dealing with the attitude that his business had created. To be even clearer I did not talk to him for more than one minute before he told me "you can just stop being nasty right now". It was like he thought I was 12 or I had told him he had ugly children. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't want to work somewhere so disorganized they don't have any idea who they sold what to or for how much, but taking it out on a customer doesn't seem like the way to make things better.
They should be ashamed and anyone who shops there is investing in misery.
You can do better; I doubt you could do much worse.

Provided by YP.comStay away from these crooks. They will advertise a misleading price of a vehicle. Then when you visit the dealer, they will change the price of the vehicle. Too bad this happened to me considering I drove an hour to get to the dealership. Stay away from Jim (wears glasses), Chuck (sales manager) and Brett Maybury.

Provided by YP.comBlake at Don Jackson is a snake in the grass.
My father and I have been car shopping for awhile now.
We called Blake the day before to set up an appointment to look at a Honda Civic.
WE HAD MONEY IN HAND TO BUY THE CAR OFF THE LOT THAT DAY.
When we arrived Blake stated he had no idea about this appointment and we had to catch him up to speed.
We had to give him the information on the car so he could find it.
We waited for him to find the keys and were looking at other cars on the lot.
We come across a beautiful Pontiac Convertible. Blake comes out stating he can not find the keys to the Honda so we ask him the price on the Pontiac. Stated he would go inside and check. While waiting, I took to my cellphone to look at their online website to see what price it was listed at. It was listed at $10,395. He came back out still without the Honda keys but with the Pontiac keys instead. Stated we should take it for a drive while he finds the Honda.
I asked Blake the price on the Pontiac and he stated it's $11,999.
I said to him on your website it was listed as $10,400. Says to check again. So I refreshed the page and sure enough from the moment he went inside and came back out he changed the price on the website. I gave the keys back and stated I would never do business with such a shady person.
DO NOT GO HERE! NOT TRUSTING AND OUT TO SCREW YOUR WALLET. BLAKE YOU COULD'VE MADE A SALE BUT INSTEAD YOU WERE CAUGHT BEING A HORRIBLE SALESMAN.

Provided by YP.comBUYER BEWARE!
I traded a great 4Runner for a Mercedes C230. Less than 24 hrs after taking posession of the Mercedes the check engine light came on. I brought it back and told them I wanted my 4Runner back...they laughed at me...literally! I was furious. They told me they'd check the Mercedes and when I returned was told that it was fixed...said it was a sticky pary on the intake. The NEXT DAY the check engine light came on again, brought it to the dealership only to find out I needed major repairs totaling about $4000! They knowingly sold me a lemon because I was told by two expert mechanics that Don Jackson manipulated the check enging light in order for it to pass emissions. You cannot get a passed emissions with a check enging light on.
STAY AWAY from these crooks!!!

Provided by YPmobileFair, timely and considerate is how I feel handled when taking my Jeep for service work. It's like the red carpet is rolled out every time I go to Don Jackson. Dustin is the service advisor I use and Jon is the service manager who is extremely knowledgeable about automobiles. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and to me that is what sets them apart from everyone else. In order to be great you have to love what you do. Very special:)

Provided by YP.comI went in to the Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge Jeep after finding an internet special for a 2008 Ford F-150 with 105,000 miles for $11,991. Went in to test drive. And thought it sound, ran and looked great.
Of course they didn't haggle the price because it was already listed way below book value. (Should have been a clue)
My husband and I went through approval and was accepted.
We decided to take it to Gene Evans Ford down the road to get it inspected. We paid $162 for full inspection and glad we did.
The truck had NEVER been inspected by Don Jackson's service guys.
There was NO oil in the tank at all (dip stick dry), the other fluids like windshield wipers etc was extremely low, the front end seemed like it had been replaced with new parts, even though the carfax said no accidents reported, the brakes were paper thin, the main sticker under the hood was torn off like someone didnt want you to see the new parts year, and the list went on.
Don Jackson assured me that the car was inspected before we drove it off the lot. How could you miss all of this but have the papers in the window, have it listed on their website as well as autotrader. ?
i am not one to bad mouth a place but this is a big mistake and could have been very costly for me.
Of course we walked away from the vehicle and due to this mistake didnt want to do business with them either.
I had heard good things about them through someone who used to work there over 20years.
I would say if you do business there make sure you take the vehicle somewhere else to be inspected and ask them for the write up on what they serviced.

Provided by YP.comFANTASTIC. I could not have had a better experience buying my new Jeep Grand Cherokee then from this dealership. Buying a car is typically a nerve-wracking experience for me because dealerships usually have a very high-pressure atmosphere, but at Don Jackson I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. I originally visited this dealership because I noticed (online) they had a huge selection of the vehicles I was looking at and at more affordable prices then most of the other car dealers in the area. I hadn't completely decided on which make I was interested in, so the manager took his time showing me different models he though I might be interested in...he was very knowlegeable and was able to answer all my questions. The consistency of helpful and knowledgeable information continued as I met with the finance manager who was able to put me on the right programs that fit my budget. The whole process (including test-driving) took 2-3 hours of my time and I LOVE MY NEW JEEP! I will continue to service my Jeep here and will probably be making future puchases with this dealer. If you are looking for a great deal, positive energy and a seamless car buying experience, I would highly recommend visiting Don Jackson!

Provided by YP.comThe airbag indicator light started coming on last month in our Chrysler minivan. That being a real safety issue (in case the airbags are no longer working), we wanted to get it fixed right. The first trip to Don Jackson netted a parts and labor bill of ~$1000 for a new "clockspring" and "seat-belt assembly." (And I deferred on the additional $2000 in repairs that Don Jackson service said I needed - brakes, shocks, struts.)
One week later, the airbag light is coming on again. Ok. The repair is guaranteed for 12 months. Back to Don Jackson we go. We also wanted to return another customer's set of keys that were mistakenly left in our car (too bad for that poor customer, I suppose!!). The diagnosis? Oops, Don Jackson Service says we were supposed to also replace the seat belt buckle itself. "We made a mistake. Sorry." That will be a another $375 for the part and $250 for labor, but because this was a return visit, they were only going to charge us their cost of the part ($275) and they would eat the labor.
Hmmmm....wow three separate things all going wrong at the exact same time that would make the airbag light come on (clockspring, seat belt assembly and seat belt buckle). Man, what must the odds be of that!!?? Amazing. Next week when the airbag light comes on again, it will probably be the seat itself, I'm sure. Don Jackson didn't budge on the $275 price, but I didn't budge either. We took our car back without the repair, having learned that Don Jackson Chrysler service is one or more of the following:
a) incompetent - they can't properly diagnose a problem, but instead will just start writing up a list of repairs that may or may not fix the problem at maximum expense to you; or
b) incompetent - they can diagnose the problem but can't make the proper repair. "Ooops, we forgot that step" is not what one wants to hear, especially with the safety features of one's car; or
c) not trustworthy - who can say how much of the repair work was really needed. I may be an engineer, but I don't know what is needed to make an airbag work when it needs to work. They could say anything and they know it, and they did. When I realized that what they were saying was that three separate things went wrong at the exact same time, only then did I know something wasn't right - the probabilities just make that scenario so very unlikely; or
d) incompetent and untrustworthy - leaving another customer's set of keys in our car can be an honest mistake. Coupled with the rest of the experience it just adds to their incompetence. My wife, feeling bad because we couldn't get back to Don Jackson immediately to return the keys, asked when she did return them if they had to have another set of keys made for the poor customer that owned them. The service agent said "no, I think we still have that car here." It seems there is the possibility that having lost the keys, Don Jackson was just going to wait to see if they turned up and in meantime, tell the customer that his car wasn't quite ready yet. Nice.
That's our story. If you have to go to a dealer to get service, take our advice and don't go to Don Jackson Chrysler in Union City, GA.
PS - upon picking our van up, service was kind enough to have written up a diagnosis of the problem as "new" and unrelated to their previous repair work - a classic CYA move. Of course an hour before they were more than willing to waive the labor and parts upcharge because they had made a "mistake" during the previous repair. So now if we go up the chain in the complaint department, all the paperwork says is that we denied to get a new problem fixed. These guys are good...just not at fixing cars.

Provided by YPmobileWas looking for a car for my daughter and had a limited budget. The selection and quality of cars they had available was incredible. Our salesman was informative and helpful in finding the perfect car for my daughter. Will definitely be back for our next purchase. Best experience I have ever had buying a car.
