Very poor everything. Most (not all) of the people that we saw and/or met were so condescending and completely non-helpful, that my family stopped going there after a few months. We stayed long after we should have moved on and found a real counseling center. We tried to stick it out with them because this is what they are supposed to do. We wanted to be able to work through some issues we were having at the time with professional guidance because we weren't getting anywhere on our own. We got bills. We got referrals which turned out to be wild goose chases. We got missed and/or extremely late appointments from the employees we were scheduled to see. We got everything except guidance and real help. It was a terrible, expensive experience. We had good jobs. We are pretty intelligent people. We had private insurance and paid quite a bit out of pocket too. It's not like we were milking the system or tax dollars for everything we could get. We were there because we needed some help and were willing to pay them whatever it took. We wasted our time, money, mental energy, and emotional energy. I could not recommend them at all. I actually left there much more distraught each time than I was when I went. We saw a family nurse practitioner who was practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I think. We saw a social worker who I believe did have good intentions. I believe she was mostly a victim of her employer. One nurse practitioner left right after we started going there. She was apparently the "qualified" one that the social worker with good intentions wanted us to see, but that never worked out. The scheduling was so bad we were never able to see the social worker again, even when we had appointments with her. We got letters that we missed appointments that we never knew we had. It was just awful. The nurse practitioner did not help in any way whatsoever. Thankfully someone referred me elsewhere before it was too late. When you are dealing with depressed people, you especially do not let them fall through the cracks, like they did me. It is sometimes a matter of life or death. They need to realize this!
