I would tell them not to use this paper. I lost my brother (Ronnie Parker) on January 25 and the obit they put in the paper was barely 2 lines long and they even screwed that up with typos...you would think for $35 they could have at least proof read it. .....All they did was SLAP a grieving family in the face.....I will never buy or use this paper ever again.

NOT EVEN WORTH 1/4 STAR..........

GO BACK!

PLEASE, go back to the way things were, To the "on line" Daily Messenger, from the small town from which I was raised. For as long as I can remember, there has been the Union City Daily Messenger that informed me of what was happening at home. Now that the Messenger has been injected into the NW Tennessee web page, it's just not the same. I have voiced my opinion to the Messenger today but it will probably not change anything. NW Tennessee webpage is not personnal, like the Messenger. NW Tennessee web page is way to busy, like every other web page. The Messenger actually had pictures, where I could see my friends and home. After 22 years of dedicated military service, and still working with the Air Force for a total of thirty-three years of service, I ask, Please go back to the Union City Daily Messenger that I know. I speak of all of the military folks from Union City and surrounding area that want to go home for just a few minutes by reading the Messenger. We had a "Touch of Home" on the internet that we could actually see, you have robbed us of that by leaning on the Mondo Times and the NW Tennessee web page. GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS AND GIVE US THE "REAL" UNION CITY DAILY MESSENGER!

Very good Small Town Newspaper

Very good at covering the county with three high schools. They have a large staff for such a small newspaper and they cover the county well.
