I had finally mustered up the courage to try a silk press after being natural (and heat free) for about 7 years,. There was no way I was going to attempt this myself, with my BSL 4B/4C mane. I expressed all of my questions and concerns ( being somewhat paranoid about heat damage) and she was extremely patient and provided helpful information .

I had my appointment today at 8 in the morning (book early as possible!) and I was extremely pleased with the experience! Their professionalism and knowledge was very refreshing. There was so much going on, yet my stylist maintained her focus on my hair with a smile and gave good conversation. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process, answering all of my questions. Additional to the wash and silk press, I got a trim (she WAS NOT scissor happy!) and a hydrating steam treatment, which made my scalp feel amazing.

I have already set my next appointment with Attitudes New Era and I will definitely be a returning client!

If you want professional service and an expert weave do not go to this place. While it is aesthetically pleasing, I haven’t had service this bad since I had my first weave done by a lady in the projects. I arrived at the shop for an 8 am appointment and left around 12:30 pm looking a hot sizzling mess.
I waisted $180 on the stylist and $60 worth of hair to look like a clown with a bad weave and an even worse, uneven haircut. Sharone, the stylist, had a nasty attitude when I brought my concerns about the haircut to her attention. I will never go to this place again!!!!!
