First off,I REALLY like this place! I told clients and friends about it. I enjoyed The Greek lamb-burger all 3 times I came here. All three times I got a burger, an appetizer and several drinks. I raved about S1B to my hubby, I wanted us to add another place to list of "hang-out" places. He enjoyed the Mary's Little Lamb-burger. He said "this is a good place, lets come back here." We were feeling great! but then!... I decided to redeem a coupon. Lol! You see, 2 visits ago (my first visit) I had been given a $20 off coupon. I initially refused it TWICE because I had a great experience and did not see any need for a coupon. But the manager insisted, so I took it. When I redeemed it this 3rd visit, we heard him say to the tender "typical...I knew they would use it". Then he walked over to me, smiled and said sarcastically "I'm so glad you used that coupon today". A stark difference from his "welcome back! Great to see you again" earlier that day. I was so shocked! I just smiled and gave Cheryln (who is AMAZING) an $18 tip on a $26 tab, originally $46. I gave her a similar tip last time. I don't deserve to feel as sad and judged as I felt upon leaving here. Especially since i like the place. I never asked for much, I was always friendly, and! I NeVER asked for that coupon! HE GAVE it to me! Yet I was treated sooo poorly by him! We liked Cheryln and ENjOYED our food but will never return to be treated so poorly by management.
