Provided by YP.comLet me tell you about my experience with Chase Bank (Colonies Crossroads). I apparently was put into some sort of account years ago. I tried to close a line of credit with Chase. So it appears that even though I was told the account was closed, I find out years later that it was not closed. It is "inactive". Same thing? No, it is not. So then it appears that my status changed in the Bank. I find out now for almost TWO YEARS, Chase has been charging me $20 A MONTH!! Chase was there when I was closing the account. Nothing was said about this. Who Charges $20 a month for a checking account you don't use? Remember, "inactive". Years later, I still cannot close that account. I also got stuck with an IRA with Chase. Even though my credit line is not closed, they still seemed it necessary to charge me with a bogus late charge that never took place. I wanted out so bad, I paid it. I'm still not out. Lot of smiles and reassurances going in, different trying to get out. Chase Bank actually returned the conveyance fee they requested to close the account, stating they didn't know what we wanted to do! What else is a re-conveyance fee for? In the end, it appears Chase Colonies Crossroads, as well as their District Mgr is washing their hands of this (but keeping $20 a month checking fees). Be careful when dealing with them. Easy to start and open things, IMPOSSIBLE TO CLOSE.
