Provided by YP.comI live nearby so I've been here numerous times over the past 6 years for breakfast. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about because I've never had a problem with the waitresses. In fact, the service is better than most places I go. I also feel the prices are very reasonable considering what the local competitors charge. I would rate this place higher except for the fact that while their breakfasts are EXCELLENT, their lunch and dinner meals are slightly subpar, even for a diner.

Provided by YP.comNot very good food served on ,at least mine was, chipped, dirty dinnerware. The food is bland. Have these people ever heard of spices? The atmosphere is dingy and reeks of better times long passed. Not a place I would recommend..

Provided by YP.comi have had lunch there many many times over the past 3 or4 years. the quality of the food for the buck is well worth it.i would rate the food quality 4out of 5 stars. however i find the waitressing staff to be a big insult to the owner.ive seen waitresses so pregnant that the can barely move .and or keep having to stop due to cramps,or baby moving! i have on numerous times heard the girls complain about being short handed.this in return reflects the kind of service.and attitude the waitress has towards us the paying customer!

Provided by YP.comTired of the over-priced cookie-cutter dining experience? This Chi Restaurant has been in buisness long before "since I was a kid," and there's a reason for that. Sure, it's small, but most good old fashion places are. The waitstaff is not rude, they are kind and non-semse. As a matter of fact if you go there frequently enough they will greet you by name and bring you your drinks without asking what you want. Go there even longer and the waitresses will talk with you about your new grandkids and know you're children by name. The food comes fast, and for a mother of toddlers that is key. I know I can place my order, take the kids to the bakery 2 doors down, and come back just before my food arrives, and that's during the lunch rush. The menu is pretty extensive and the the daily specials offer enough of a variety that many people go there every night for dinner knowing they will have something different. The deserets are fresh and homemade, and the coleslaw is so in demand that you can have it for your own private function, but if that function is Thanksgiving or the 4th of July be sure to order it in advance or you might be out of luck. Overall, if you haven't been to the Chi Restaurant you need to go. It's a down home place in a little town, which is actually Boothwyn (Upper Chichester) to be more accurate. You won't be disappointed. If you find that it's not like any other restaurant, that's because it isn't. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Enjoy!
