My son has had a wonderful experience with Master Wallace. We have found him to be straightforward and honest, not only an excellent instructor. The integrity he brings to the studio, he also brings into his class. My son also enjoys his humor and the way he motivates students. Highly recommend.

I WAS TOLD BY SAM WALLACE THAT MY SON WHO HAS DOWN SYNDROME COULD NOT BE TAUGHT BY HIM BECAUSE OF HIS CONDITION. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE COULD TEACH A QUADRIPLEGIC FASTER THEN SOMEONE WITH DOWN SYNDROME BECAUSE WHAT HE DOES IS MORE MENTAL. WITH SAM WALLACE HAVING A DEGREE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION YOU WOULD THINK HE WOULD OF BEEN SHOWED MORE COMPASSION THEN HE DID. HE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK LET ALONE TALK TO MY SON. EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHANCE AND SHOULD NOT BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE OF THEIR DISABILITIES. WHAT IS THE POINT OF SAM WALLACE SPOUTING HIS RESUME ALL OVER YOUR WEBSITE AND ALL OF HIS WONDERFUL CAPABILITIES AND THEN TURN AROUND AND JUDGE MY SON AND COUNT HIM OUT BEFORE HE EVEN GAVE HIM A CHANCE???

UPDATE----

WELL MY SON (WITH DOWN SYNDROME) IS NOW A YELLOW BELT AND HE EARNED IT. HE WORKED HARD AND WAS GIVEN A CHANCE BY ANOTHER SCHOOL THAT DIDN'T TURN HIM AWAY. THEY GAVE HIM A FAIR CHANCE AND DIDN'T JUST LOOK AT HIM AND ASSUME THE WORST LIKE SAM WALLACE DID. MAYBE IT IS A GOOD THING SAM DID ...I WOULDN'T OF WANTED HIM TEACHING MY SON AT ALL...HE LACKS COMPASSION AND JUDGES ON LOOKS ALONE. HE WAS DEAD WRONG. THIS IS MY SON'S 3RD BELT AND I AM VERY SURE HE WILL RECEIVE MORE IN THE FUTURE...BECAUSE HE WAS GIVEN A CHANCE!!!!!!!

Actually, it is a credit to Master Wallace's honesty, that he was straightforward with you concerning teaching your son. He teaches a number of differently abled students, but will not take money from parents unless he can impart the art to a satisfactory degree. As the parent of a handicapped child myself, I know how painful it is to accept limitations. But it is better to be told honestly that this is not the right place for your child, than to simply accept tuition every month, and just go through the motions, without achieving any real goals. He is wonderful with people of all abilities, but respects them too much to simply pretend. He does not do fake smiles, or talk down to his students. That's why he is so highly regarded. Tish Rickards
