Prince George's Department of Assessments & Taxation, from its office in Upper Marlboro, Md., is responsible for valuing and listing all taxable property within its jurisdiction in Prince George s County in Maryland. It is a government agency of the Maryland Department of Assessments & Taxation. In Maryland the valuation of all real and personal property for purposes of property taxation is a function of State government.
