Dale levitt Disposal is awesome, pretty dependable, have never had any problems with their service. They are a locally owned family business, with decent pricing compared to other trash services, and have a friendly staff. They've even gone above and beyond their normal services when I've asked. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

This service was once wonderful, then Dale passed. Some family took over and the 'customer service' disappeared.

When they changed from 'provide your own can' to 'toter provided' I had been paying for 2 cans. They delivered one toter which I thought the toters were larger so one cost the same as two of my own cans (nobody told me anything). After about a year, I was shopping for new service in Champaign (moving, Dale Levitt doesn't operate in Champaign) and noticed I was actually paying for 2 toters. I called Dale Levitt Disposal and the lady told me "oh, we'll fix it for your next bill". I asked if I could get some kind of discount since I had essentially been overcharged $100. The lady said the next bill would be no charge. I thanked her and we ended the conversation. About 5 minutes later, I received a call from the husband of the lady I spoke with (apparently he's the new owner). He started yelling at me saying they didn't owe me anything, that I shouldn't expect anything free, and it's my own fault I didn't realize I was being overcharged. He hung up on me so I called the lady back and cancelled my service. It took them a month to pick up their toter. UNACCEPTABLE
