I went to Coppertop on lunch with my fiance about 25 minutes ago as many of our associates have told us this is a great place to eat. This is the first and last time we will ever go there. We sat ourselves as the sign said and had to wait quite some time for any service even though the only other customers in there were already eating their food and had been served. There were two men that had walked in with us and were served immediately but we were not. We waited about 5 more minutes and our drink order was eventually taken and I asked for water with lemon. I did not receive lemon and asked the waitress again if she could please bring me my lemon. I still was not brought any lemon and the waitress was just standing there on her cellphone . The female manager on duty then came over to take our order about 2 minutes later , which we placed and I proceeded to ask her for lemon as it has been forgotten several times already. She made a joke and said "how stupid of her to forget the lemon. Haha she's fired" we all laughed and she said she would bring me lemon. After another ten minutes of waiting and other customers being served, I still had not received my lemon and all employees went in the back and were not on the floor. Since we were on lunch break we decided to leave as the service was very slow and I still had not received any lemons. As soon as the waitress came out from the back again, I kindly explained to her that we would like to pay for the drinks and leave as we were on a time schedule and did not want to wait anymore and I still had not received any lemon. The waitress was very nice and apologized and said she understood. We waited 5 more minutes and the female manager on duty came to the table and said the drinks were on her. We told her we had no problem paying for the soda my fiance had. She started to get very nasty with me and raised her voice saying "just so you know two people have died recently" I proceeded to say I'm very sorry about that and she leaned into my face and quite literally SCREAMED "WHATEVER, SOOOO SORRY ABOUT YOUR LEMONS!!!" at me in front of the rest of the patrons. She then put her hand up at me in a gesture of "whatever" and then ran into the back and disappeared. I am and was extrmemly shocked at the treatment I received, how I was screamed at, and the lack of customer service and professional skills that this establishment has and I will be telling everyone I know. My coworkers are also informed. This I the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant!!!
