I just spoke with a young lady on the phone for a last minute appointment to get my nails done. This lady was very accommodating and eager to help!!! After they're done I'll add to my review but thanks for last minute help!!!!

I love Erin and her staff, such a great group of people! I always looked for a salon that could give a good Brazilian Blowout and I finally found my place. I will be back!

I didn't know we could review you guys on Yellow Pages but I heard the girls talking about it so I came on to help you all out too. I've only been going to Volume for a year but I love the salon and stylists. I usually go to Erin but I have gone to Ashley as well and I have always left pleased. These girls are extremely talented and kind! I go to other salons when I travel for work and I haven't found one I enjoy more and have a better experience. Thank you Erin!

I had previously went to another salon for many years and my stylist relocated. A friend recommended Volume and I have been several times now with nothing but amazing experiences. So glad I found a place I can trust with my hair. I would highly recommend to family and friends or anyone!

Volume has been one of the best things to happen to Urbana! Love this hometown salon and the friendly talented staff! My daughters love seeing their pictures up on the internet after their appointments.

I've been going to Volume for the last 3 months since I moved to the area, Erin was recommended to me by my co-worker. I've since become very close with the whole Volume staff. Everyone is very friendly and talented. This salon is someplace you can become attached to not only their great service, but the people & vibes. They have a great product selection and offer more services than any other salon in town. I highly recommend Volume to anyone looking for awesome stylists with reasonable prices.

This place is a real diamond in the rough! I was blown away by my first few experiences and I have had the same level of care since. A beautiful salon in a lovely little town. I like the tea shop down the street too, it's worth a visit as well.

I found them on Facebook and saw all their amazing work! I wish they were a little closer but I will be back after spending almost half of what I usually spend at a salon near my house and coming away with a color I never thought I could get to.

So happy I found this salon, they are the only place I will go now. I never leave with that brass look for my blonde and I love to visit their pages to see my hair!

The Volume Salon is nothing but a make shift, photo shopped, uncaring and over priced salon that doesn't value their costumers real concerns only thier own fake image. Do not go there and waste your money and time. So disgusted. Never in my life have I felt so poorly of myself after getting my hair done. Instead of having blonde on top and black underneath I Received silver on top and blue throughout and black on the bottom. The owner only contacted me after I left her a bad review and didn't respond back to me wanting a partial refund. I left the salon paying to much, had color still stained on the back of my neck and ear, hair nothing like I asked and a really bad personal feeling about myself that no one should have to feel. I had went to a different salon to have them fix everuthing they did to me. If I could go back in time I would have never even wasted my time. They ruined to much for me. Do not go there please.

Do not recommend. I came into the salon with beautiful ombre hair; just looking for a change.

My first appointment ended with me having very dark hair with strong red tones which I definitely did not want and looked nothing like the photo I showed the stylist. When I returned I spent 4 and 1/2 hours in the salon having my hair lightened up and highlights added. When I got home I noticed that the highlights were off colored, some were brassy and there was orange spotting where the solution had bled out of the foils.

In addition to this the stylist was not able to do a good blow out. On my first visit she dried my hair with her hand. This was painful to my scalp as there was much tugging on my hair and I'm not a big fan of this method. On my second I requested that she use a round brush but then asked her to stop when I saw that my hair was looking very frizzy. I have had fantastic round brush blow outs before so I do know the difference between fabulous and not at all good.

A couple of days later while starting laundry I found that the cardigan that I'd worn to the salon that day had discoloration on the back near the neck and shoulder from bleach. So in addition to having bad hair color I also had a ruined cardigan.

After my experiences I contacted the salon to speak with the owner, left voice mails and sent an email with before and after photos but I never got a response back.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this salon due to the color issues and due to the lack of response from management.

My day went to this salon and was expecting to be charged around $75 for what she explained to the stylist on the phone and 3 hours later the stylist charged her $145 without explaining any of the cost prior to doing the treatments, no haircut just color. I had to call the salon and explain to the staff that they need to explain thier pricing a little better in the future and maybe tell customers what price range they will be paying when making appointments. My daughter will not be returning here. Also when they told her the price of course she was confused and the stylist looked at her like she was an idiot. I say bad business on thier part. I will not recommend them to anyone and I have lived in Urbana for 20 years. Save your money and go somewhere else where the staff are a little more knowledgeable.

I recommend Volume to anyone who wants the best! Erin does amazing color! The salon is beautiful! The stylists are so talented! Volume is by far the best salon in Champaigne County.

Absolutely amazing! I love Volume, I've been going since I moved to the area and will continue to come back. Erin is amazing! The salon is BEAUTIFUL!

Hands down the best salon I've been too. They offer everything and everyone is super talented! I have been going to Erin for about 6 months and I've truly fallen in love with my hair!!

Amazing atmosphere, stylists, and everything in between. Love the changes that Erin did to the salon as well! Best salon in Urbana, I highly recommend it!
