I don't even know where to start with this place, honestly! We live in one of the town homes and at first it seemed fairly nice, but after about 2 weeks I started noticing things that I hadnt when we initially looked at the unit. There are massive gaps missing in the trim pieces by both the upstairs and basement sliding glass doors. It is not only unpleasant to look at but also allows a huge draft into the house(which I didn't notice until about 3 months after moving in when it started to get colder out). I brought it up to maintenence one of the times that they were here and they NEVER CAME TO FIX IT! I ended up shoving a bunch of socks into the holes and taping over it. I do know that putting plastic on the windows in colder months is a MUST, unless you would like a $300.00 electric bill!! I'm almost positive that they never clean out the ducts here either. about 2 months after moving in, we purchased a new washer and dryer and I was ecstatic! other places I had lived did not offer the option of having one. I received a call one morning (I was at work) from my boyfriend saying that the townhouse had started on fire!! He said it had started in the basement and looked like maybe the dryer had caused it. The only thjn g that really worried me was that nothing in the basement had even been turned on, so we had NO IDEA how it started. I called the office and hey said "Well, we will try to get maintenance over there today but they are busy, so maybe not". SERIOUSLY??? My house was on fire!! Why wouldn't you send someone immediately?? The guy finally showed up and said that it was probably a lint blockage In The vent and that he would come back later to douche it out"!!! He could have totally just said he would clean them out instead...lol. the vinyl floors are supposed to mock wood, buy it's so terribly done that one of my high heels punctured several holes right through it! And then there is the most recent incident....management either lost or misplaced my rent check!!! They are now considering it late and because it is past the 6th now, had to go get a money order as they will not accept a personal check after the 5th! Then there is a late fee to tack on. They still have no clue where the old check is and told me that I should do a stop payment on it (and that will cost $35). FOR SOMETHING THAT IS THEIR FAULT!!! We are moving the second that our lease is up! Save yourself the headache and Hassel of dealing with unnecessary problems and check out another complex...there are a lot in the area and they are actually worth the money you will be forking over each month! The place looks good on the surface with all the amenities you think you are getting, but don't be fooled. I have lived here for six months now and regret every dime of it. First off the outdoor pool was shut down for over half of the summer because of repairs needing to be made. The indoor pool is way to cold to even get in and is so dirty you don't want to get in it. The work out center is super small and overused by college students. You can only tan during office hours. The computer lab is not secure and most of the computers barely get slow internet. There is no security on the property and I had to call the cops because of harrasement by some teenagers. The management is HORRIBLE. Do not plan on anything getting fixed, until you call the office a minimum of 4 times, while talking to all different people, who will tell you they have never heard of what you have been asking for, all while being rude. They have new leasing girls in and out of the office all the time. No
