It was so hard to eat the veal dish last time with tooo much lemon that this time I ordered the Ambassador Veal. It had so much flour and water glued together, it was impossible to swallow. The salads had to be sent back because they were swimming in vinegar. The pork chops were so hard and dry, it was difficult to cut. The tables were set with dollar store findings. Our bill ran $60 p.person. Drinks were $8 ea. The neighborhood is the worse & the prices don't meet their area. The waitdress was great! Our crowd will not return.

After having several people rave about the Ambassador, my friends and I decided to try it. I ordered the bisque soup, it came luke warm. I had to have it reheated. We ordered medium greens for the table, there was really no taste to them. The salad was iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and onions. We were all charged $1.50 for our salad dressing. We did not choose any special dressing and was not told by the waitress that there was a charge for the dressing. HOW DO YOU SERVE SALAD WITHOUT INCLUDING THE DRESSING? I ordered veal Saltimbouco, the veal was covered with a thick acidic red sauce with onions and carrots, it tasted like it was burnt. the veal was definitely burnt. the veal was all dried out and the ends about 2" in was all crispy. All of us were very disappointed in the entire experience. The bill was $125 without the tip, definitely not worth it.

New Year's Eve Gouge. We had dinner on New Year's Eve, having been here before and enjoyed our meal. We were quite surprised at the overpriced "special menu". The meals were $10-15.00 more than the regular menu. We asked what came with the entrees since nothing was noted on the menu. We were told that salad was included and a choice of pasta, potato or veggies Upon receiving our bill, there was an extra charge of $1.00 for the sides of veggies and $1.50 for parmesean peppercorn and ranch dressing. We did not mind paying the additional charge, but would have appreciated it if the waitress told us at the time of ordering that there would be an additonal charge for these items. We were very disappointed.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in the city of Utica! My wife and I visited for the first time this past Friday. The selections of appetizers and entrees is excellent. We both chose the twin pork chops. Cooked perfectly and delicious. We both were only able to eat one with our side dish and salad! We'll definitely be back!
