Friends of the Arc Foundation is a part of The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter. It comprises community leaders, families and friends who wish to support and raise funds for The Arc. The foundation operates as an independent third party and sponsors events, such as the Arc Gala, silent auctions, golf tournaments, chicken barbecues and a fall dance. The Arc provides educational, vocational, residential, rehabilitation, family support, day treatment, senior and recreational services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families residing in the Oneida and Lewis counties in New York. Friends of the Arc Foundation is located in Utica, N.Y.
