Travelers, please note that the National Distance Running Hall of Fame is NO longer in existence. Sadly, due to the lack of sustained interest from the public, the organization was forced to shut down. The Boilermaker Road Race, established in 1978, is held annually on the 2nd Sunday in July in Utica, NY. Among it's many features including a 5K event, is the challenging 15K race which has become known as the best 15K in the USA and the iconic Saranac Post Race Party which is indeed, the best and largest post race party in distance running. The Boilermaker organization is developing an exhibit tentatively dubbed The Boilermaker Experience which will be housed in it's offices at 805 Court Street, Utica, NY.
