I am a landlord, and have attempted to use the services of Lloyd Shore for the purpose of income execution. The judgment of default was granted September 27, 2013. I was told by Lloyd Schor that he would send the judgment of default to the court to be signed so as to receive a notice of income execution, and after servicing this income execution the process would start in 20 days. I was further toll that there would be no charge and I would start to receive money 30 days after that. At the end of two months time I went to the office of Lloyd Schor to inquire as to the status of the income execution, I was greeted with astonishment that they did not know who I was or anything about the matter at all. I was then told that the paper was sent to the court but the court failed to fax the income execution back to the office of Lloyd Schor. I was also told that this is a common occurrence and I should not worry in that I will be earning interest from the date of September 27, 2013. One week later I again went into the office of Lloyd shore to inquire as to the matter at hand, and once again the secretary’s knew absolutely nothing of the matter whether the paper was received or executed. When I explained to them the history of what their office had done I was told that Lloyd Schor would call me and apprise me of the status in this matter. Lloyd Schor called me accused me of harassing his office told me to come and pick up the income execution paper and he would no longer have anything to do with the matter. The date was December 18, 2013, please note that I was polite and courteous to his staff and by informing them of the history thought it would help them in their recollection of their supposed services and their status with the matter. I think it is rather odd that one would dismiss one’s incompetence by referring to time lost as additional income from interest at 9%. Furthermore when after such an experience one makes further inquiry as to the status of one’s interest to be dismissed and referred to any other Marshall due to one’s supposedly belligerent attitude is somewhat ridiculous and childish. I then went to the office of Thomas Allard city marshal handed him the income execution paper that took 2 ½ months to be received he then started to process it immediately got on the phone and handed me back a copy with a start date and told me he would have to wait 30 days before garnishing salaries. My advice to you is to avoid this office at any cost if you don’t you will be just be wasting your time.
