I was new to the area and didn’t have a vet. My dog had a couple of lumps on him then developed a very fast growing lump on his left chest. I took him to this clinic. Usually my dog wouldn’t let anyone exam him. The doctor sat on the floor with him, talked with him then was able to completely assess him. Turned out he had a total of 10 lumps and 2 mole tags. The doctor performed surgery to remove all. He did a fabulous job at a very reasonable price. I’m so glad to have this clinic and would highly recommend this clinic

I have been taking my cat here for 5 years now. I have always been ablE to go in the room with him and have discussed his care with the vet (who is a very compassionate caring person). I would and do recommend this vet to everyone. I am taking my puppy in this week to be spayed and am sure she will have excellent care. I WOULD NOT TAKE MY ANIMAL TO ANYONE ELSE.

I am very upset with the Staff and the Vet at Alamo Animal Hospital. I had never been there before but they were recommended by a friend. I called and made an appt to my my kitten spayed. She is a disabled kitten as she has only three legs and she has had previous surgery on the back stump. The morning I dropped her off I was not able to speak to the Vet. I was called at noon to say she was ready to be picked up. When I got there I felt I would see the Vet but again only the staff and they gave me instructions. I was told to come back in three days for a follow up. I called to make an appt they stated the Vet would be in at 9 I could come any time after that. I went at 9am again the staff came pulled my kitten out of her carrier took her in the back leaving me outside in the lobby. A few mins later the staff returned with her said she was doing fine to come back in 7 days for the staples to be removed. Still I have not seen the Vet who did the surgery on my kitten. So I called the morning of the 7th day to make an appt to get the staples out. I had worked nights at my job and called at 8am asked what the earlies I could come in to get them removed she told me the Vet does not get in till 9am so you can come anytime after that, so again I show up at 9:02am and again the staff come and take my kitten from me, I asked am I not going to get to see the Vet since I have not ever seen him and this is my first vist with you guys, she stated oh the Vet is at a dentist appt you would have to come back if you need to see him, she asked is there questions you have. I said NO but I felt I would like to meet him. She walked away with my kitten to return stating she is fine just a little swelling of the site but that is normal. I have never been treated like this before. I feel the Vet should see the family of the pets these are like are babies and I do not take my kids to the doctor and not see the doctor myself. I spent almost 200 dollars and I am not sure what the hell they did. So dont go to this Vet unless you dont care about your animal.

The staff at Alamo Animal Hosp...

The staff at Alamo Animal Hospital are the better than any vet i have been to. The staff in its entirety are compassionate, helpful, sincere, and overall extremely nice. We have been taking our animals to Alamo Animal Hospital for several years and we will continue to be their patients indefinitely. The vet himself, is one of the greatest people we have ever come across, especially in a field where the nature of the job is not always a happy one. Dr. Dhaliwal will never force you to do anything nor does he quote you the most expensive treatment to try an make a buck. He will suggests several options for treatment doing his best to keep people with lower budgets in mind. He genuinely wants to help pets and their owners. His honesty and compassion is something refreshing in an field that can easily charge you for treatments you "may not understand." One of the many great things about Alamo Animal Hospital is they will explain not only the what of the treatment but the why as well as any dangers (which from my experience several vets will not inform you of even the more common dangers). The prices are less than any vet we've been to and even if they weren't we would be glad to pay them as we have not found a better vet to bring our animals to.
