About Dr. David D. Canton
Dr. Canton is a Graduate of U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 1985. He Completed An Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and Received His Training in Veterinary Ophthalmology As a Resident at U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Canton is An Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at U.C.Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, and is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO).

We Examine Patients by Appointment Only. Appointments May Be Scheduled 9 Am to 5 Pm, Monday Through Friday. We are Closed Most Major (national) Holidays and for a Short Period During the Summer So We May Enjoy Holiday Time with Our Families. During this Period We Provide Referral to Another Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist.
You Should Allow at Least One Hour for A n Initial Examination at Animal Ophthalmology Services. Depending on Your Pet?s Condition and the Recommended Diagnostic Tests, the Initial Examination May Take Longer.
