This restaurant was a big disa...

This restaurant was a big disappointment. We live about 10 minutes away so were really hoping it’d work out being it’s so convenient. My husband and I decided to eat here last night on our date night. We walked in the door and stood around for a minute without anyone recognizing us. When someone did notice we were waiting, they yelled at us across the dining room. No joke. We were seated and then had to wait another 5-10 minutes to have our drink order taken. I ordered lemonade and quickly found out they serve something with an artificial sweetener (allergic). Our dinner salads came minutes before our meal. The Italian dressing was horrible… so much garlic it was too spicy to eat. The roll they give you with dinner was a joke. I watched them take it out of the fridge, which explains why it was cold, rock hard and dry. I couldn’t even spread butter on it it was so crumbly. I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo which was pricey ($16) and bland. My husband ordered the stuffed ravioli with roasted garlic & shrimp and stated it was “okay”. While my husband was asking the waitress for a spoon & another “roll”, another waitress came up, interrupted him mid sentence and started having her own conversation with our waitress. And our waitress proceeded to have a conversation with her, making my husband wait until they were done. Rude. We witnessed another waitress do some sort of booty shaking dance in front of everyone. Didn’t know I was paying for a show with dinner. You can see the “chefs” in the back cooking and I witnessed two young boys (maybe 18-20) cooking the orders in between texting and joking around. Also, be warned that there are two kids running around this restaurant. I’m pretty sure they are one of the owner’s kids. It was 8pm when we left and at that point the one year old had been screaming her head off. We left our two young kids at home to get away from temper tantrums and little did I know it’s normal around Argenziano’s. The restaurant was also very loud and crowded. Needless to say… we will NOT be going back anytime soon and will warn our friends in Vail not to bother.

Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello???

Consider Urself Very Lucky if U get that far with this Mom & Pop "Greasy Spoon"!!! I guess they make too much $$$ to answer the phone? Only speak "Italian, Mexican" or are just plain old Arrogant!!! Any way U U look at it U'll be better off going to the VFW Hall & having "Lasagna" on Fridays with U choice of "Old War Stories"!!! I have tried on several occasions to find out anything about these people, but can't get them on the phone. So...Ur guess is as good as the next as to when they "Open, Close, Serve" or if their even worth the trouble??? John & Tam
