This company now has new owner/operators. Their attitude and service is not the same as from the original family run business. Now there is an office woman that is not very bright, and at least one service tech with an arrogant, smart-ass attitude to any criticism. The appliance work actually done was fine, though a bit high priced.

This is a solid business for appliance servicing also for purchasing appliances new or used as available. If they don't have it, they can get it.

Paid exam fee of $20 which was OK. Then told item was repaired and to come pick up. Paid another $30 . Picked up and too home and was same as when I took it. Called and was told it must be a $ 400 part. To my response well I can buy a new one for that. Was offered no refund or answers, $50 Lesson learned. Hopefully, this rating helps your choice.

I had the same issue with my dishwasher. The element was bad but the problem is when the element goes bad it shorts the control board. I called bargain house and they were very professional but also treated me like I was an old friend. I highly recommend the boys at the bargain house.

Forty five dollars to write out a receipt for forty five dollars. He came in asked me what problems I was having, wrote down the Model number hit the cancel button and stated the it would be $200 to $245 to replace the control board and touch pad. The control board is working correctly and is stating there is a issue with the heating element (7 flashes and a pause on the green clean light) which I told him.The control board can be reset which works correctly (which I showed him) and does a test (which he canceled) which would again results in the same issue heating element. The focus of this service call was not to offer a fix/repair but to get me to buy a new dishwasher which they will take $45 dollars off of if I buy it from them "Bargain House Appliance". So in trying to save money by fixing our dishwasher +Bargain House Appliance+ would want you to buy a new one or pay for a repair that was not needed. In & out so quick the same song was on the radio when he entered and left.
