Scruggs Concrete has been supplying concrete and building materials to its customers since its establishment in 1963. The company s concrete block manufacturing plant is capable of producing approximately 24,000 8-inch blocks per day in nearly 30 different styles. Additional capacities of architectural concrete masonry units are also produced at this location. ACMUs come in different textures, styles and colors. These units are normally used in the construction of commercial projects, such as large department stores, food stores, office complexes and upscale warehouses. Scruggs operates more than five redi-mix concrete plants. All plants are state-certified with computer batching and recording systems installed to assure quality control. The company also maintains an updated fleet of approximately 50 concrete and delivery trucks to meet the schedules of contractors and customers. It distributes more than 200 selections of face brick for commercial and residential contractors. Scruggs Concrete is located in Valdosta, Ga.
