I hired Valdosta Properties to manage my rental house. They will not inspect the property and their repair vendors will fraudulently charge me. The tenant and Valdosta properties left me with thousands of dollars of damage. The owner will never return my phone call and has never respond a simple request to speak to him directly so I can show the evidence of negligence. I have hundreds of pictures and emails to prove this company's negligence behavior. Most deceiving business in Valdosta community. Made a mistake by trusting these people to be honest and started renting while I was deployed. When I returned home and moved in, the house was pretty gross on the inside but I took care of that and cleaned it. The backyard looked nothing like the pictures and the fence was falling over so I put in a maintenance request to get it fixed. Took them two weeks to finally get someone out there and the person who "fixed" it just put a post up and called it a day. Still have parts of the fence falling over and broken boards. A lot of small things that I could have complained about but I only wanted the fence in the back yard fixed. I've been living in this house for about 3 weeks now and I don't really have anything good to say about Valdosta Properties. I won't be renting through this company anymore that's for sure.

It was a constant hassle the entire year I was stuck with these sorry good-for-nothing landlords! They were all nice and appealing until I signed the lease and then they did not give a crap. They didn't fix half of what they said they'd fix because apparently the house owner (which was not them) refused to pay for it. My lease was with Valdosta Properties, not the owner of the house.



When I turned in my notice that I would not be renewing my lease with them, they demanded I fill out all this BS paperwork or they would charge me in fees until I did. It went down hill from here! They did not process my last months payment before the deadline (their fault) and charged me a $75 late fee. They refused to fix their error in charging me this fee.



When my deposit was finally returned to me, they had charged me with $500 in fees. I left that house in much better shape then when I moved in! I was charged for the weather stripping on the back door to be fix even though that was on my move-in list (they refused to fix it when I moved in because the owner didn't want to spend the money). They charged me to touch up the paint on a closet door which was also marked on my move-in list. They charged me to clean the carpet which I had cleaned but I was charged anyways. And they charged me for lawn care which I know was left in better shape than when I moved in because that was a nightmare to fix when I moved in.



Overall, these people are a nightmare to deal with. I thought I had bad landlords in the past but these people win the award for the worst landlords yet! I will never rent from these people again and I do not recommend you rent from them either.
