Ok Dr Izu was terrible, he totally hounded my wife and I to so a C-section even after we told him over and over we didn't want to have a C-section. He kept telling us it would be better for my wife indicating that it would leave her more intact. Basically implying the baby was going to wreck her and stretch her out, but we know that the birth canal was the best place to pickup these essentials for a good start at have a properly setup gut biome. He didn't even seem to know about that and could have cared less, he just was convince a C-section was the way to go. After all my wife was in labor for several hours and he thought it would speed things up, but my wife was a trooper and wasn't going to take something away from our son to give him the best start. Later on hell started we didn't want any kind of shots for our son, and man things got heavy he made us seem like terrible parents for wanting to wait on stuff like that, he even made us feel like he was going to recommend calling child services. That alone made us never want to see him again, but then the pressure came for getting our son circumsized. We were planning on waiting on that too as I never did that so I wasn't sure. I have had a couple of bad situations with infections and my wife didn't want our son to have to face that in his future so we decided to do it. But man he wrecked our boy, he took so much tissue that he didn't like anatomically. Correct, but more like he will be deformed. We are hoping he will recover and repair but man he seem to have really botched the job. Anyway it was a very stressful birth process and I would recommend anyone considering this doctor think about it first. If we could do it all over again we would go another route.

This Dr. Jerry Izu a few years back did a terrible job circumcising my now autistic son. He took off way to much skin and fused his glans to his foreskin. He now gets regular infections, in fact we have to take him to the doctor tomorrow to deal with it. We think his giving my wife certain diabetic medication didn't help out the pregnancy. He was born pretty small and the doctor has my wife be induced and it was a horrible process, she literally thought she was going to die and consigned herself to death. He had her laying on her side during the inducement, she said she felt like she was crushing the baby. The process was hellish and scary, I was frightened and the doctor didn't even act the least bit concerned. It was if this was normal. He was in hurry it seemed and he was rushing us to get the circumcision underway. We said ok but he really botched the job and now my son suffers. Not to mention his autism or brain damage is like related to they way he way born. I would steer clear of this doctor especially if you are going to have a boy.

Dr Izu is very thoughtless, my wife had been in labor for hours and this doctor was very late and then became very impatient. My wife was stuck in labor and the baby would not even start to crown. The doctor called for forceps and made us think if we didn't it was would be dangerous for the baby so we relented. Worst mistake of our life, it deformed the babies head and left bad marks on his head. We had him recently looked at and they think the baby will be neurological issues. Not to mention the forceps tore my wife and she was bleeding profusely, so bad in fact she passed out and it got serious for a while. He didn't even seem to care just acted like it was common place. Then came the pressure to circumcise. I was not and I was ok but he was really trying to tell us it would be a big mistake to not proceed. So we fell for it and it was a horrible mistake, the process took so much skin it has deformed him, the skin fused together in a scar. This was a terrible experience. This doctor seemed ok until the actual birth Process, then he turned into a nightmare.

This doctor was very disappointing. We were interested in natural child birth and he totally didn't care. He tried to even bring up the idea of a C section. He didn't even know about all the helpful bacteria the baby gets in the birth canal via natural child birth vs C section. We told him we were going to wait on the vitamin k and Hepatitis B shot and he had a total cow. As if we were going to kill our baby if we didn't submit to vaccination on the first day of life.We also mentioned were were in no way interested in circumcision and he was totally against it, and started to act like he didn't even want to be our doctor because of our inclinations. In the end we decided to go with another doctor because he had no interest in they way we wanted to manage our child's birth. As if we disagreed with anything he said we must have no idea of what we are talking about. It was very condescending and unprofessional.
