These People are horrible!!! I...

These People are horrible!!! The leasing "Professional" are so condescending it's almost laughable. From the showing agent Julie Roberts, telling us everything we wanted to hear (things that were going to be fixed that never were to concrete being poured to an unfinished backyard that wasn't fully done as we were told) to Mindy Russell (property manager) who insinuates I can't use a mailbox key or know what a cat box smells like. The carpets were not cleaned by the original owners or the house cleaned properly.

We were forced (moved from out of state) to sign a lease without seeing the condition of the property first. We did not have the privilege of going through the walk through with the agent. Since we were coming from out of state and we did not have another place to go we had no choice other than sign the lease and endure what was to come.

Mindy's walk through was half assed at best. She missed a toilet seat completely off the master toilet. There was no toilet roll holder in another with terrible touch up paint throughout the house. The screens did not work which was a stipulation of our move in since we like fresh air at night...

The house was not ready for us to move in when we arrived! All the keys were not available, it took a month for us to get the right mailbox keys! Not to mention the disturbances we endured while workers were at the house off and on for weeks while they finished the work that should have been done by move in. We had 2 children under 4 napping at times.

The house was filthy with drawers full of hair, dust, dirt, make up chunks. The downstairs closet was obviously where they had their cat box ( I had to shampoo the rug 3 times and keep the door open the whole year to keep the smell at bay) it REEKED!

This was just on move in. They did not return our full security deposit though the house was left in better and cleaner condition then when we moved into it. We had our housekeeper clean top to bottom yet they charged us another $150 for a "light house cleaning", another $400 for carpet cleaning which the owners never had the courtesy to do for us (I requested a receipt for the carpet cleaning because I did not believe the carpets were cleaned, it was never provided.

Watch out for the Tesoro De Valle Neighborhood. We had to endure 2 shelties barking almost non stop for 8 -10 hours a day for months until I had to get nasty with the owners of the dogs. I tried everything from talking to the owners of the dogs to the HOA to animal control. Nothing worked! My girls were tired all the time due to disturbances in their sleep because of these dogs. I eventually wore ear plugs to bed when my youngest was put into a toddler bed and could get me if she woke. This place was HELL in every way!!!

Of course if a tenant had the dog the leasing co. could evict them but if a tenant had the problem with barking dogs, there is no way to get out of the lease! Nothing about this company is for the tenant! When you sign, that is it, you owe them the years rent no matter what!! Our experience was so horrible, we moved back to our home state.

The rent was among the highest in the entire area ($3500/mo), we expected quality, this is what we got...and it's not even all of it!

There are more negative reviews about this company on yelp, which I whole heartily agree with!
