Each year, more than 850 students from 33 school districts come to the Southern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services The Center for Career Services. Located in Valhalla, N.Y., the organization prepares students for employment and post-secondary education. The Center for Career Services helps develop technical, academic and workplace competencies. It offers choices for career paths, which include career and technical education programs that meet business/industry standards and New York learning standards. The Center for Career Services basic occupational education program provides special education students with a self-contained setting that builds on their career and vocational skills, instills them with confidence and gives them a head start in the job market.
