Have only had great food and service at San Marcos. We live in Opelika an have to make trips to the Valley to eat here. The food is at a great price and well worth the time and effort to go an eat. They have just remolded an have more room for parties and large groups. Thanks San Marcos for great food and service.

Not worth the time and money :( I really had high expectation for this place and maybe that's where I went wrong. I have lots of friends and aquaitances that love this place but I guess the only Mexican food they really know is not REAL Mexican to start with. The food was rather bland and flavorless. It didn't have much flavor, I mean like salted meat and not at all what I expect from Mexican food. We had Carne Asada, Quesadillas, Taco Salads, tacos and a few other items (we were a large party). I'd say it's a step up from taco bell but not that far up... there's no condiments served with the food, no guacamole, salsa, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream or sprinkle of cheese on your bean or anything.... I will not visit this establishment again... they failed us big time :/
