Boys & Girls Club of Porter County is a private, nonprofit organization located in Valparaiso, Ind. It is a facility-based organization, and offers a wide range of programs in various areas, including arts, education and career development, character and leadership development, health and life skills, and sports, fitness and recreation programs. Incorporated in 1970, it has other facilities located in South Haven, Portage and Chesterton in Indiana. It also provide a before and after school child care program to various school sites covering three different school corporations. The club s facilities include gymnasiums, gamesrooms, teen and learning centers and conference rooms. It is a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America that is affiliated with more 2,800 club organizations.
