This builder was difficult to work with and the quality of the workmanship is terrible. We had difficulties throughout the build process. The punch list on the house was never completed. Tile in one bath cracked from one end of the bathroom to another. The hardwood floors were not prepped correctly and were laid directly against concrete. Now, our roof, that was sold as a 40 year roof, is literally falling off the house and leaking all over the place causing other structural damage. We have had two separate insurance companies turn down the claim om the roof because the damage is "due to negligent workmanship." We have had four separate roofers inspect the roof, and each has indicated that whoever installed our roof originally (Sunrise Homes, Inc) had no clue what they were doing. The type of paper used under the tile is completely wrong, there is no venting in the roof, drainage patterns are problematic, and so on. The builder will not accept accountability or assume any responsibility to correct the situation, which is going to cost us $40 - $50K to fix. So my recommendation is to not even consider using this builder!
