Haven’t been to new Float Stream since original one total loss from 2017 flood. New one recently opened on Highway 60 in Van Buren, MO. Can’t wait to try it out! We live 100 miles from there, but have vacation home in Van Buren. Float Stream Restaurant our favorite for at least 35 years!

We were in Van Buren for a weekend during the off season. The Floatstream was suggested and close. Atmosphere was mom and pop but that was fine. It was evident almost immediately that we were an inconvenience to the waitresses but finally got drink orders taken. The food was good. Catfish wasn't at all greasy. Service, on the other hand...totally different story. The waitresses were arguing with each other in the dining room. Order the catfish to go and head back to your cabin.

A landmark restaurant that still sizzles. The Float Stream (TFS) has some of the best 'home cooked' style of food in Carter County, Missouri.

A favorite of the tourists that frequent Van Buren during the summer float season, and a gathering place for locals.

Very good food, reasonable prices and very friendly & competent wait-staff.

You won't go wrong on everyday food fare at TFS!

The restaurant's main room is a smoking environment with a large back room that is non-smoking.
