Very clean facility, nice peop...

Very clean facility, nice people. I have boarded my kitty there a number of times over the past two years. She is always relaxed and looks good when I pick her, which was not always the case at a different place I used to take her.



The California Cat Center is run by Vets, and they require all cats to have updated shots, which is good. The "kitty condos" are good sized, three level, each has its own little tent, cat box, food and water bowls. The rooms where the cats sleep are large, well-ventilated, quiet with soft music playing. There are finches (little birds) in cages for the cats to watch. Each cat gets to run around the room once a day, while the others remain in their condos.

We may not be easy to find, but we're worth looking for. We are located in a light industrial area just East of the Van Nuys Airport between Vanowen and Sherman Way in the center of the San Fernando Valley. Exit the 405 FWY at Sherman Way, head West, turn left on Woodley, right on Hart and right on Sophia. You'll find us in the middle of the block on the East side of the street.
