Never got to see my mom after she died and that's all I wanted

BEWARE Who wants to see their loved one after 6 days? Not I! Thats what was offered to me by Evergreen Memorial Gardens. I only wanted to see my mother as herself nothing else was asked of them. I never saw my mother after she died. They moved her body to unknown facility. I asked their funeral directer the name of facility and all Vicie L. Roper would say was that it was in portland. I now know it was Portland Mortuary Services and the owner Craig Collins wouldn't tell me anything when I called to ask him if they had our mom, how long they had her, when they took her back, and if they creamated her. He hung up on me!Craig Collins has had complaints against his company for things like, employees taking pics of the dead and posting it on line!!! What kind of company's do Evergreen Memorial Gardens do business with? I'm confused that no one can tell our family the details about our mom when we paid for services!! I still do not know where she was creamated or how long she stayed in Portland. We have filed a law suit! We also filed a complaint with Wa. State DOL and Better Business. They ARE investigating!! BEWARE

Provided by YP.comBE AWARE!!!! This funeral home cared about nothing but money! The funeral home directer Vickie Roper who used to be a construction worker had no sympathy for our family. Go to the KATU News Portland Ore web sight and see what happened when we used EVERGREEN MEMORIAL GARDENS1111

Wanted to charge us $305 and make us wait 5-6 days to see mom. Lied about where they were keeping her and where they did cremation. Took 15 days to get ashes back when the average is 3-4. All this and NO apology. We filed complaint with WA DOL and urge you to do the same if you have had any problems. Don't let them do this to your loved one!

Provided by YP.comDON'T use. All they care about is the money they can make off you and the loss of your loved one. They would not let us see our mom, it took 15 days to get her ashes back (average is 3-4) and we have no idea where they kept her for the 15 days. We filed complaint with WA DOL and urge you to do the same if you have had problems too. They need to be forced to change their policies!!
