I hate this place. I have gone twice there and my food is always cold and it taste nasty. I recommend to not go. Waste your money somewhere else. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went and ate with my kids and ordered a burrito and ended up with a chicken bento plate. No big deal, but I ordered a combo plate to go as well, for my wife. My wife noticed there was no sauce. I called them and they said there should have been sauce in the bag, I said there was not. They would not offer me a new meal, they only offered to give me sauce if I drove back there and basically bring it home so my wife could eat a cold dinner with teriyaki sauce.

Provided by YP.comThe food is great here. Average prices. It is also great for takeout. The inside atmosphere is casual and maybe could use some slight improvements but it is definately worth a visit!

Provided by YP.comIf you're really that hungry, I would suggest getting
the teriyaki beef or chicken Bento meal - but get the Kahuna portion - for one dollar more.
They fill the plate. I can't imagine anybody thinking that is a small portion. If you can find
better tasting food than this in any restaurant on any island in Hawai'i, I want to
know where it is. Have visited Hawai'i for many many years and eaten in the very best "local" restaurants
with locals, that are not frequented by tourists. Herb serves up some of the best "Hawaiian" food
I've ever eaten...restaurant or home cooking. The laulau and Kalua Pork are perfection, as is the
teriyaki. He makes his own sauces that he marinates the meat with. The true test of any Hawaiian
restaurant is their "Mac" salad. Herb's is Ono (delicious), and I'm not a fan of Macaroni salad.
Herb's food is delicious, healthy and plenty of it.

We love Hula Boy and our family eats here often - sometimes as much as once a week. If you are really hungry you can "Kahuna size" your meal, which means you get extra meat, mac salad and rice. The sauces they bring to your table are the best. They have Kona Brewing beers on tap too (and cheap). Great meal at decent prices.

I often recommend Hula Boy to my friends who are looking for a good place to eat in Vancouver. In my opinion, they have the best Hawaiian food in the Portland/metro area. Great value for the price, good portions, freshly made and just plain delicious. They'll bring you four sauces with your meal - a house-made teriyaki (yummy sweet), a sweet chili sauce, a Jamaican sauce (packs some heat - but dangerously addictive), and another type of hot chili sauce that I have been too afraid to try. My other favorite thing about Hula Boy is that they offer brown rice as an option. ######Don't get a craving on Sunday though - they are closed.
