I was excited to try this place but was extremely disappointed. They had chinese, mongolian, and sushi. Every one of the varieties were far below standard than any single chinese, mongolian or sushi restaurant. The items at both the mongolian bar and chinese bar were extremely slow to restock. Waited for the beef to be refilled for a half hour seemed excessive. The hot & sour soup was empty the entire time. I took my family of 4 to meet my sister with her family of 4 there. We each had a payback coupon for our meals. We arrived separately, paid separately and left separately. But, since we sat at the same set of pushed together tables, they refused to allow us to use both coupons. This was my family's first time eating there and our last. There are far better restaurants for a much lower price.

Provided by YP.comThis is the best sushi restaurant I have been to yet. The place has been packed every time I have been there, and I can only see why. The food is fresh and made on the spot, it has a great atmosphere, and sushi to die for!

I was so impressed! The food is excellent and so much good food to choose from. The service is friendly. We really got our money worth. This is my new favorite restaurant. I highly recommend.

I had to write about what a horrible experience it was to eat at Makoto. I was excited to go, I love sushi and Japanese food. I was expecting it to be a buffet, but I wasn't expecting it to be such a terrible place to eat. While the food was ok, pretty typical of buffet food. The service was awful. First, they charged us for our 2 year old to eat, and if anyone has eaten with a 2 year old at a restaurant you know they eat very little. Also they charged $1.50 for a small glass of milk!?! Second, the "salad bar" section consisted of a bowl of lettuce and two plates with cantalope and melon in it. That was it. The dessert selection is pathetic. Very little to choose from and none of it appetizing. For $20 bucks a person you would expect a buffet to have a better dessert selection. Third, they would not honor our coupon because the group that we with had someone with a birthday, who got a free dinner, even though they sat at a different table then us and we paid separately. Finally, the pl

I went in for lunch and wow! The selection of both sushi and cooked food was amazing. Everything is so fresh and really tasted fantastic. I had not seen a Seafood Grill before and am really impressed by the choices of food you can choose from. Great staff and wonderful food! Make sure you are really hungry, it is hard to decide what to eat!

Provided by YP.comMakoto offers traditional Japanese food in an all you can eat format. The sushi is great, and the hot food and salads are fine.
Seating has been full since the first day this place opened, so you should consider arriving early. Like other Japanese buffets, food is only served at meal times.
