Loss of the indoor shops

I have become a real fan of the Vancouver Farmers Market. Where else could I find such produce as pre-rooted grapevines for my backyard arbor, the freshest produce and the unique food offerings? I rue the recent decision

to shut down the indoor market that was open all year. Were more conventional businesses worried that they would lose money from this kind of competition? I tend to think that the patrons of their shops often came by because the indoor farmers market was in the area; if this be the case, then they likely shot themselves in the foot by urging the indoor market be closed. If the indoor shop was so expensive compared to generated sales, then perhaps changing

the vendor offerings would have increased the proceeds enough to make the indoor market more viable. I miss the place. It added so much to the atmosphere bcause it was also a place to sit down and socialize all year long.

Please bring back the indoor market. As a retired person, I particularly enjoy this sunny face of Vancouver.
