I had a paint repair need for my car in 2016 and used Matt's. At that time I rated his service 5 Star. He did an excellent job so I went back for another body repair in 2017.

Unfortunately Matt has lost his 'customer service touch'. Seems he's now into blaming others for his shortcomings.

I dropped the car off on a Monday and Matt indicated it would be done on Wednesday. Stopped by on Wednesday and it was not done (painter was a 'no show'). They said it would be done on Thursday. Stopped by on Thursday and was told the car would be done on Friday. Stopped by on Friday and the car was not done (protective stone guards not installed properly).

Matt mentioned that he'd schedule his vinyl installer to complete the job. I took the car on Friday with the understanding that Matt would give me a call . . . never heard back from Matt. Sent him 2 emails hoping to receive feedback on scheduling . . . Matt never responded. I completed the install of the guards myself. Time to find another source for bodywork in the future.

Two tid-bits of advice for Matt . . . 1. You're reputation is only as good as the reliability of your employees and your suppliers. 2. As the business owner the buck stops with you. It's best not to blame others for the shortcomings of your business. This tends to cause your customers to loose confidence in you.
